    100% the best games business advice for most people in games is contained in this one paragraph.

    If you’re in a similar boat as me. You make games mostly on your own, your disposable income is next to non-existent and the kinds of games you make happen to be in a kind of crowded genre: Please, please ignore 90% of advice about selling games on Steam you find on the Internet. Most of it, doesn’t acknowledge that you exist and therefore whatever information it has, is most likely not applicable to your situation.

    Oh well. 2020 was a good year for me in terms of work - without really having to seek out jobs. 2021... does not look so good. Translation requests have all but dried up now, so I guess it's time for... the dreaded self-promotion!

    The whole family is currently watching our eldest play through Hollow Knight and cheering whenever he beats a boss. Didn't expect that having kids came with the perk of living vicariously through their gaming, but here we are. It's pretty good.
