Date: 22 Feb 2008

ISE Hove recently completed the inaugural English & Security Training Group from the Women’s Police Federation of Libya. The Officers were taught by Angela Farrar, a former officer herself from Sussex Police. The Group learned about the History of the Police,  Criminal Justice Procedures and Stop & Search Procedures and Techniques.

Captain Suliman Satti: Liaison Officer

The group also visited the West End Theatre in London, had traditional Cream Teas in Rottingdean and played paintball. They also stayed in host families to have an opportunity to meet typical English people

Lawrence Eke, Director of ISE Hove said: " I have been delighted to welcome this group from Libya. We have excellent links with the Police Academy in Tripoli and as the country gears up to receive more international visitors, it is important that the Police officers can help foreigners." One of the Officers was pictured on the front page of the Evening Argus!
