TXT Will Release Their Studio Album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ in May
After months of anticipation, K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER announced they will have a comeback in May. Big Hit Music revealed that TXT will release their album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE on May 31 with a trailer for the album.
TXT released a teaser trailer for ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’
On April 29 at 11 a.m. EDT, Big Hit Music shared a trailer for The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE. The teaser begins with a pixelated X from the band’s minisode1: Blue Hour era transforming into a blue cube.
The cube then explodes into different pieces before transforming into the X of the TXT logo. A pink heart appears in the middle of the blue X and begins to beat loudly. At the end of the trailer, it is revealed The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE will be released on May 31 at 6 p.m. KST.

TXT fans can pre-order the album
After a trailer for The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE was released, Big Hit Music released details about the album in a statement on Weverse. According to the Weverse post, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE will be a full-length album.
“Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. On Monday, May 31, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s second studio album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ will be released,” reads the statement.
The statement also shared how fans can pre-order TXT’s new album. Pre-orders for The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE will start at 11 a.m. KST on April 30, and MOA will be provided with more information about pre-orders on Weverse.

What MOA think of the album announcement
TXT debuted with Big Hit Music in 2019 and the group has five members: Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai. The quintet’s fans are known as MOA, meaning Moments Of Alwaysness.
After The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE was announced, MOA reacted on social media. Based on fans’ posts, it is clear MOA are excited for a new era.
One fan wrote on Reddit, “OH MY GOODNESS!!! the minisode era has officially ended omg!! the new logo looks so amazing! chaos chapters let’s go!!”
“… the boys have been so excited about this comeback. They have been hyping it up like crazy. I just know this is going to be an iconic era. The prospect of new music from tomorrow X together makes me dizzy,” another fan wrote on Reddit.

The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE will be TXT’s second studio album. They released their first studio album, titled The Dream Chapter: Magic, in 2019.
TXT released their EP minisode1 : Blue Hour on Oct. 26, 2020. The K-pop group released minisode1 : Blue Hour as a standalone EP following the completion of their The Dream Chapter album series.
On April 16, TXT performed their song “We Lost the Summer” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The song was released on minisode1 : Blue Hour and explores the drastic change teenagers experienced due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
