President Japarov signs order on structure of Cabinet of Ministers

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sadyr Japarov today has signed the order on the Cabinet of Ministers, the president's press service reported.

The presidential model of govenance has become effective in Kyrgyzstan after President Japarov signed a new Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted through the referendum on April 11 on May 5. The Constitution foresees a new order of formation of executive, legislative and judicial branches of power.

The government has been transformed into the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Cabinet will have the following structure:

– Ministry of Economy and Finances;

– Ministry of Defense;

– Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

– Ministry of Justice;

– Ministry of Health and Social Development;

– Ministry of Education and Science;

– Ministry of Culture, Information, Sport and Youth Policy;

– Ministry of Emergency Situations;

– Ministry of the Interior;

– Ministry of Transport and Communications;

– Ministry of Energy and Industry;

– Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources;

– Ministry for Promotion and Protection of Investments;

– Ministry of Digital Development;

– State Ecology and Climate Committee;

– State National Security Committee.

The Cabinet consists of:

– Chairman;

– First Vice Chairman;

– Vice Chairman anad Minister of Economy and Finances;

– Vice Chairman;

– Vice Chairman and Minister of Digital Development;

– Ministers;

– Chaipersons of State Committees.

The following executive agencies will act under the Cabinet:

– State Agency for Local Self-Government and Ethnic Relations;

– State Architecture, Construction and Utilities Agency;

– State Intellectual Property and Innovations Agency;

– State Financial Intelligence Service.

The order becomes effective since the day of its official publication.
