     Laura Emma Milner was baptised on 23 May 1825 at Bolton Percy, Yorkshire, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Sir William Mordaunt Sturt Milner, 4th Bt. and Harriet Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck.3 She married Egerton Vernon-Harcourt, son of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 8 December 1859.3 She died on 5 February 1889 at age 63.3
     Her married name became Vernon-Harcourt.

     Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott was born on 7 March 1830.1 He was the son of Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Augusta Venables-Vernon.2 He married Cressida Elizabeth Selby-Lowndes, daughter of William Selby-Lowndes and Lucy Hartman, on 4 October 1866.1 He died on 29 January 1912 at age 81.1
     He was given the name of William Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone at birth.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 In 1860 his name was legally changed to Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott by Royal Licence.1 He lived at Wood Hall, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

     Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 August 1799.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 1st Bt. and Margaret Scott.3,4 He married Louisa Augusta Venables-Vernon, daughter of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 14 June 1825.2 He died on 24 February 1869 at age 69.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, of Hackness Hall, Yorkshire [G.B., 1795] in July 1807.5 He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1821 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County York between 1830 and 1832.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Scarborough between 1832 and 1837.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1841.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Scarborough between 1841 and 1853.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Scarborough between 1857 and 1869.2

     Georgiana Vernon-Harcourt was the daughter of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower.3 She married General George Alexander Malcolm, son of General Sir John Malcolm and Isabella Charlotte Campbell, on 4 December 1845.1 She died on 29 October 1886, without issue.3
     From 4 December 1845, her married name became Malcolm.

     General George Alexander Malcolm was born on 21 January 1810.1 He was the son of General Sir John Malcolm and Isabella Charlotte Campbell.2 He married Georgiana Vernon-Harcourt, daughter of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 4 December 1845.1 He died on 2 June 1888 at age 78, without issue.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of General.1

     Harcourt Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 1st Baron Derwent was born on 3 January 1829.3 He was the son of Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Augusta Venables-Vernon.3 He married Charlotte Mills, daughter of Sir Charles Mills, 1st Bt., on 2 May 1850.3 He died on 1 March 1916 at age 87.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Life Guards.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the North Riding, Yorkshire.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.3 He gained the rank of Major in the East Riding Artillery Volunteers.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
