Amazon Alexa

The Seattle Times flash briefing is available on Amazon Echo devices and the Alexa app. Click this link to enable the skill, or search “Seattle Times” under Skills & Games in your Alexa app. Then, say, “Hey Alexa, what’s my flash briefing?” or “Hey Alexa, what’s in the news?” to hear the show.

You can rearrange the order of shows in your flash briefing under the Settings tab of the Alexa app, under “Flash Briefing,” to bring your local news to the top.

Google Assistant

On Google devices with voice technology, like the Google Home, simply say, “Hey Google, talk to Seattle Times.”

Or, to add the Seattle Times show to your news briefing lineup, use your Google Assistant or Google Home app and navigate to Assistant Settings > News > Add news sources. Seattle Times will be found under “Local.”

Apple Homepod & Siri
