New Vice Chancellor takes charge of Murshidabad University

Baharampur, Feb 27 (UNI) New Vice Chancellor took charge of the historical Murshidabad University on Saturday.
The Principal of Krishnanath College Sujata Banerjee is appointed as the VC of the University by the State Higher Education Department. A long term wish of the people of the state assembly of Murshidabad is finally granted by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
She had earlier announced about the opening of the University and finally the dream seen by Raja Krishnanath in 1863 is coming to action. The district education section is extremely elated with the progress. On Friday, the State Higher Education Department sent this order of appointment to the college.
