    This is such a key point. When I talk to young coders who are interested in crypto tech just as a *technology*, they come back to me saying every how-to tutorial video or search result is overwhelmed by extremist garbage. The barriers for the underrepresented are pervasive.

    Been thinking a lot recently about the incredible capture of Blockchain and Bitcoin by a certain community. Not in terms of who actually has Bitcoin in their digital wallets, although I think we'd find there's some correlation there too.

    What’s frustrating about this tweet is that *white women* gained more jobs while *Black and Latine/x women lost them* That nuance is important. (And also, this data doesn’t say men didn’t lose jobs. But a lot will read the tweet that way. It’s about net loss-gain.)

    US employers cut 140,000 jobs in December, according to the latest jobs report. Women accounted for all the losses, losing 156,000 jobs, while men gained 16,000.

    The way Tony Hsieh is remembered is how many of us probably want to be remembered: loving, generous, kind, original, smart. Thanks Tony for reminding us that all these qualities can all exist in a person, that one does not need to be a “brilliant asshole” to be successful.

    My wife , a Nebraska native, reminded me today of why NE splits its electoral votes. If Biden does not win PA, NE's single electoral vote (from districts around Omaha) will be why he has 270. THIS lone blue dot. The reason is Ernie Chambers.
