SAN ANTONIO — Elena Delle Donne had 29 points and 10 rebounds, Kristi Toliver tied a career high with 10 assists and the Washington Mystics beat the San Antonio Stars 85-76 Tuesday.

Toliver’s 3-pointer with 3:06 remaining gave Washington a 76-59 lead, but the Mystics didn’t score again until Natasha Cloud’s two free throws with 43.8 seconds left. San Antonio went on an 11-0 run but didn’t get closer than six points the rest of the way.

Emma Meesseman added 16 points and Krystal Thomas grabbed 13 rebounds for Washington (13-9).

Delle Donne banked in a shot early in the fourth quarter for a 65-47 lead after Washington grabbed four offensive rebounds on the possession. She was 10 of 18 from the floor and had three of Washington’s seven blocked shots in her return after missing two games because of an ankle injury.

Dearica Hamby and Kelsey Plum each scored 15 points for San Antonio (3-19).
