CIR, together with the Public Media Futures Forum, is hosting Dissection D: Impact – a workshop devoted to deepening our sense of what media impact is, how to measure it and why it matters.

At this two-day event, representatives of major public broadcasting networks, stations, producers and partners will gather to

  • Consider measures of real-world change.
  • Review state-of-the-field tools being developed to capture and analyze evidence of media impact.
  • Analyze case studies applying these tools.
  • Interact with projects and stations that are designing and applying these tools.
  • Identify a set of concepts, tools and practices that could provide public media companies with a shared system for assessing media impact.
