Dolly Parton Earns First-Ever No. 1 on a Dance/Electronic Chart, Thanks to Galantis Collab

Swedish DJ/production duo Galantis and country legend Dolly Parton, teaming with featured Dutch vocalist Mr. Probz, debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart (dated Nov. 9) with "Faith." The track sold 4,000 downloads in its first week (ending Oct. 31), according to Nielsen Music.

Galantis and Parton notch their first No. 1 each on the list, while Mr. Probz adds his second, after 11-week leader "Waves" in 2014-15. "Faith" is Galantis' first No. 1 on a dance/electronic songs chart, after its Pharmacy set debuted at No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums in June 2015.

After making her first Billboard chart appearance nearly 53 years ago, on the Hot Country Songs chart dated Jan. 21, 1967, with debut hit "Dumb Blonde," Parton achieves her first dance/electronic No. 1. She makes her first visit to a chart in the genre since her cover of Cat Stevens' "Peace Train," which reached No. 23 on Dance Club Songs in 1997.

Previously, Parton hit Dance Club Songs with three other tracks: "Baby I'm Burnin'"/"I Wanna Fall in Love" (No. 15, 1979), "9 to 5"/"House of the Rising Sun" (No. 77, 1981) and "Potential New Boyfriend" (No. 14, 1983).

Parton boasts 25 No. 1s, tallied between 1971 and 2006, on Hot Country Songs. (She most recently reached the list with "Here I Am," with Sia, a No. 37 hit in September 2018.)

"Faith" also opens at No. 14 on the streaming-, airplay-, sales- and club-based Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, earning 1.8 million first-week U.S. streams.

Moving to Dance/Mix Show Airplay, The Chainsmokers and Illenium march 2-1 with "Takeaway," featuring Lennon Stella. The seventh No. 1 for The Chainsmokers, "Takeaway" marks the first leader each for Illenium and Stella.

Gryffin leads Top Dance/Electronic Albums for the first time, rising 3-1 with Gravity (8,000 equivalent album units in its first full week of tracking). Concurrently, Gryffin, Seven Lions and Noah Kahan command a No. 12 start on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with "Need Your Love." The Gravity track collected 1.8 million U.S. streams and sold 1,000 downloads during the week, also good for a No. 5 bow on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales.

On Dance Club Songs, Duke Dumont and Zak Abel ascend 2-1 with "The Power." The sixth leader for Dumont and first for Abel, "Power" was remixed by Jesse Perez and Leftwing : Kody, among others.
