Carin Besser, lyricist for the band The National

Carin Besser has been writing lyrics for the band The National since their 2007 album Boxer. She also edited and co-produced the documentary Mistaken for Strangers.

She is credited on The National’s latest album I Am Easy To Find on: “You Had Your Soul With You”, “Hey Rosey”, “Oblivions”, “The Pull Of You”, “Where Is Her Head” and “Hairpin Turns”.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
