The current situation with Eurocent

Update about the Eurocent case from July 15, 2019:

As of July 2019, the District Court of Krakow still has not approved Eurocent’s creditor list. As we have informed you previously, Mintos has submitted the supporting documentation to the District Court on June 6, 2018, which confirmed the claims of Mintos investors. The expectations are that the final approval of the creditor list might happen during 2019, but neither we at Mintos nor our legal advisers can predict this development with confidence.

You can find Eurocent’s financial statements for Q3 2018 here.

We were wanting to get in touch in regards to the current situation with Eurocent. As we informed you earlier, on May 9, 2018, the District Court of Krakow made an official announcement declaring that Eurocent was bankrupt.

At this time, the court also announced a 30 day period where companies who were owed money by Eurocent could submit their claims. With the help of a local legal office in Poland, on June 6, 2018, Mintos submitted the supporting documentation to the District Court, which confirmed the claims of Mintos investors.

After the 30 day period expired, the court then had two months to approve the creditor list. However, as there has been a delay in the court processes, creditors have not yet received any notification as to whether their claims have been accepted yet.

At Mintos, it is our priority to do everything we can to protect the interests of our investors. Because of this, we are doing everything in our power to ensure we reach a favourable outcome for the investors who were affected by this situation.

As soon as we receive any word about the claim status from the District Court we will issue an additional update. In the meantime, you can take a look at the latest financial statement issued by Eurocent on June 30, 2018, here.
