LOS ANGELES, Nov, 8 (AP) —Stafford Repp, who played Chief O'Hara in the “Batman” television series; died Tuesday in suburban Inglewood at the age of 56.

He had appeared in a number of films and in more than 600 television shows during, his 30‐year acting career, including “II Want to Live” and “Not as a Stranger” on the screen and in segments of the television shows “M‐A‐S‐H” and “Mannix.”

Mr. Repp is survived by his; widow, five children, a sister and two grandchildren.
