Billboard NXT

The #BillboardNXT chart provides a weekly ranking of the contestants taking part in Billboard NXT, a first of its kind talent competition to find the next great unsigned artist, from Billboard and Samsung Galaxy. Each week the contestants participate in a challenge and are ranked based on a formula combining judged criteria (musicality, star quality, charisma and technical skill) as well as engagement metrics for each post (favorites, comments and views), provided by social tracking company Trendpop. Three finalists from the weekly challenges will be determined at the conclusion of 6 challenges based on the cumulative weekly rankings and overall points.
