What is the Providence College Anti-Racism Summer Series?

2nd Annual Providence College Summer Series on Racial Equity and Justice – Our 2nd annual Providence College Summer Series on Racial Equity and Justice, “Embodying a Beloved Community Post-Pandemic,” kicks off on July 8th. The series will consist of seven lectures, workshops, and/or storytelling sessions, which seek to embody what we mean when we say we are on a journey to becoming a Beloved Community. The lived experiences of those who have gone through marginalization on our campus will be featured, and the ways that the pandemic has further displaced vulnerable persons and groups will be examined. In addition, we will explore a model of what dialogue across differences can look like.
