Play retro pinball machines at the Museum of American Heritage

Learn about the bright and colorful world of pinball while playing on a few vintage machines at the Museum of American Heritage this weekend when it kicks off its new exhibit, "Pinball! An Exhibition of Vintage Pinball Machines."

Learn about the development and history of the hulking machines of plastic, plywood and flashing lights and play on seven machines, including some from the 1930s. There is also a completely transparent machine that offers a 360-degree view of the machine's inner mechanisms.

The free exhibit is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is located at 351 Homer Ave. Go to moah.org/.
