Tyler Fingert joined the FOX10 News team in July 2018 as a Reporter/Multimedia Journalist.

Tyler is an award-winning general assignment reporter. He covers everything from breaking news and weather to heart-felt features.

Prior to moving to Mobile, he spent a year working at the CBS Affiliate in Phoenix, as a freelance producer and news writer.

He grew up in a suburb of Fort Lauderdale, so he’s no stranger to afternoon thunderstorms and humidity.

Tyler graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication.

While in school at ASU, he reported for Cronkite News and Arizona PBS, a local station owned by the school. There he reported from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and from Washington D.C. During his time with the station, two of his stories on issues affecting national parks were aired on the PBS NewsHour.

Tyler is excited to be on the Gulf Coast. When he’s not reporting he loves to search for great local restaurants. If you have any suggestions, let him know.
