EPISODE VIII: A 'ROSE' BY ANY OTHER NAME...

EPISODE VIII: D FOR DELETED...

Rey rushes across the Ahch-To shoreline on a mission to rescue the Caretaker community supposedly from attacking sea bandits, in a scene filmed but cut from The Last Jedi that looks set to surface on the upcoming Blu-ray deleted scenes. Though ultimately only two hours of Special Features for the release? C'mon Disney, that is very disappointing!

EPISODE VIII: A SPEEDY SECRET MISSION!

A successful search for our heroes at Canto Bight?

Though the sequence set within the casino city of Canto Bight bugged many critics and divided fandom as to whether or not it actually was a needless plot element within the middle of The Last Jedi, it did at least bring together in a satisfying way our former runaway (soon turned hero proper) Finn with an unlikely new ally in Resistance technician Rose Tico, played with likeable vulnerability and ultimately gutsy heart by Kelly Marie Tran. In a film already crowded with main and supporting characters, newcomer Miss Tran managed to hold her own effectively on the big screen.

It will be interesting to see where Finn and Rose's relationship goes next with EPISODE IX, especially after the physically and emotionally devastating events suffered during the Battle of Crait.
