Name
The official name of the Board of Education shall be “The Board of Education of Holmdel Township in the County of Monmouth.”
Purpose
The Board of Education exists for the purpose of providing a thorough and efficient system of free public education to the children in the Holmdel Township School District in grades Pre-Kindergarten through twelve.
Composition
The Holmdel Township School District is comprised of all the area within the municipal boundaries of Holmdel Township.
Classification
The school district shall be classified as a Type II district.
