The deputy President William Ruto has suffered again just hours after he was attacked by Mama Ngina Kenyatta as somebody unfit for the top office. This is after Anita Soina a renowned environmentalist announced that she was dumping the UDA party for the green party movement.
Anita Soina has been one of the strongest supporters of grassroot mobilizers in Kajiado and has been doing all she can to ensure Ruto team remains solid. Her move to join the Green Thinking party is clearly a big but again very huge blow to the deputy President William in his efforts to ensure Kajiado County remains solid and firm.
The move by Anita Soina comes just hours after Mama Ngina Kenyatta accused William Ruto of trading insults against the head of state. Soina wants to be the next Kajiado North member of parliament and probably she has realized she doesn't have a chance in the UDA party associated with Ruto.
However Kenyans as always, let's wait and see of what happens going into the future for truly we live in interesting times. The fact of the matter is that UDA has remained a big force but again of recent it has suffered humiliating blows of both defections and attacks from opponents.
