Vanessa Hudgens has joined the cast of Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills.
The Sucker Punch star's involvement in the action sequel was revealed on her official website.
"Yes, it is true! We can confirm that Vanessa will be in the new Robert Rodriguez movie Machete Kills as Cereza!" the latest news update reads.
Hudgens is the latest star to board the ensemble following director Rodriguez's Lady GaGa announcement last week.
The 'Edge of Glory' singer will play La Chameleon in the movie, which will open in cinemas in 2013.
Machete Kills features Mel Gibson, Amber Heard, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara, Alexa Vega and Danny Trejo as Machete Cortez.
Charlie Sheen will cameo as the president of the United States.
