Very quiet and good location.

Very happy with our stay here. It was easy to find and there was accommodations to park our moving truck and car trailer. It was quiet and the room was very comfortable.

Even though the hotel is a little newer and located across the street from another hotel from the same chain we were confused as to why there was no bathroom fan in the bathroom. We did appreciate that the hotel had fire protection as in fire sprinklers. Hotel does have quiet hours posted however it's not very well enforced I suppose we should have requested our neighbors calm down but we never did. Also with the bathroom it was impossible to close the door with a towel on the floor, the bathroom just seemed not designed very well for a new hotel that seemed a little odd.

Slept well on comfy bed. Great military discount. Front desk attendant was not at desk when arrived, but responded quickly. Outlets need changed out, they didn't hold cords tightly, safety hazard and led to phone going uncharged.
Nice hotel, but bring back the cinnamon rolls

The hotel was quiet, pool area was typical, conveniently located
When I think of Holiday Inn Express verses other hotels I expect a clean hotel and overall that is what I found at this hotel, although the hallways needed a vacuum now and then. Hard floor areas were visibly mopped.
Front desk area was empty most of the time. A phone sat on the counter people could pick up to contact front desk. Did not want to pick up a community phone for assistance. Eventually was able to find a staff member to assist me refresh items in my room.
Breakfast was an area that needed improvement. When I think of Holiday Inn Express I think of cinnamon rolls. We were at this hotel for three different days for breakfast, no cinnamon rolls. Eggs, pancakes, cereal, muffins, oatmeal and toast were all available so we were able to find something to eat. Breakfast on weekends began at 7 AM while weekdays 6 AM. Some in our group had to be out of the hotel by 7 AM over the weekend. No breakfast for them.
Security concerns and out of food

The hotel was nice enough with comfortable beds. They do need more staff as the 2nd morning they kept running out of food partly because they only had 1 lady staffed for front desk and breakfast. The main thing that causes us to not return in the future was that we returned to our room to find our door slightly ajar left unlatched. It was not on the list to be cleaned, so we were not given an explanation as to why someone was in our room. Later we did find an empty key sleeve with our room number on it in our room that we had not seen previously like someone else had been assigned our room. Thankfully nothing was missing, but we will not be staying again due this security issue.

I stay at Holiday Inns quite extensively. Some are not so good. It’s a pleasure to find some that seem to take great attention to details. Very pleasant stay!

There was no bath gel in the bath gel dispenser (it was empty), the sink stopper didn't work (it was broken closed), they didn't clean my room (no one came to clean my room, offer new towels or more coffee kcups), I was not offered a bottle of water or something at check-in since I'm a rewards member. The woman who checked me in was not friendly, but the rest of the staff were, especially the gentleman who brought me bath gel, coffee and towels when I called the front desk. I'm not sure why this form says excellent because my experience was the complete opposite.

Just a quick one night stay - overall it was a decent stay. The Young lady that checked us in and greeted us was wonderful very nice and helpful. The room felt really stale when we walked in and almost uncomfortable... we were able to get some air moving and it helped. Beds were comfortable and decently cleaned.
Hotel was GREAT! Customer Service, not so much!

Checking in was smooth and uneventful, the front desk worker juggled a few different requests at once, and was very polite. Checking out was not the same. Not only could we not find anyone to help us, even after calling the front desk number and ringing the bells for service, but we were unable to get a copy of our bill. Fast forward a couple days, and I'm looking for my bills. I could only find an invoice on my account for one of the two rooms we reserved, and there were additional charges from "The Market". I called and spoke to the front desk, only to be told they've already emailed the invoices to me and she could not assist with the additional charges (that were not mine). I would need to call back between 11pm and 10am and ask for the manager. Really? So, I requested a call back from the manager. The reply I received was "I doubt he'll call you, but I'll give him the message". Wow, just wow! Coming from the customer service industry my mind was blown by the lack of professionalism and client care given.
Consistently Good Service and Quality

We have stayed at this facility frequently in the last several years. What keeps us coming back is the consistency of service and the facility. Front desk staff have always greeted us professionally and warmly. The rooms have been clean and in good shape, which has been a concern for us during covid. The breakfast area provides the type of food one expects of this type of hotel. The breakfast area has always been well supplied and clean. Even with staffing issues, the people working deliver services with a smile for the customers. Much appreciated.

I always enjoy staying at IHG hotels because I have peace of mind that my room is clean the food will be good. I always have a good night sleep because the beds are super comfortable. I really like that IHG has a snack bar with a good mix of items.
