In Ukraine, the deputy commander of the 8th Army died. “Paper”

The authorities confirmed the death of the deputy commander of the 8th Army, Major General Vladimir Petrovich Frolov. About it informs press office of the governor’s office.

During the farewell ceremony, Governor Beglov said that General Frolov was a hereditary military man. According to the governor, “his father went through the Great Patriotic War” and participated in the battles for Khatyn. Beglov added that Frolov “fell the death of the brave” in Ukraine.

The rank of Major General Vladimir Frolov was awarded by decree of the President of Russia on December 12, 2019.

Major General Vladimir Frolov was buried at the Serafimovsky cemetery. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.

This is the eighth serviceman from St. Petersburg. Earlier, the authorities of St. Petersburg reported five dead from St. Petersburg: private Kirill Magulacolonel Nicholas Ovcharenkolieutenant Yury Zhitkevichas well as corporal Sergey Abramchik and paratrooper Maxim SmirnovEnsign Artem Panov and lieutenant colonel Miras Bashakov.
