Second show added due to huge demand
Tickets for Coldplay's 1 July Royal Albert Hall show went on sale this morning. Within (approximately) 0.3 nanoseconds, they had sold out. Luckily for fans who missed out, they've sinced announced another show for 2 July, tickets for which go on sale today (6 June) at 4pm.
Some people won't need to bother with that though, managing to get tickets in the first batch.

A relatively intimate gig: Coldplay are used to headlining gigs in the world's biggest stadiums. Their London shows at the Royal Albert Hall, with an audience of 5,272 will be intimate by their world-conquering standards, and allow fans the opportunity to get up and close with the band in this historic venue.
Theatrics: You don't become one of the world's biggest bands without knowing how to put on an explosive show. Coldplay may get given a kicking from music purists, who are all too quick to label the band 'boring', but the band have some seriously big tunes in their collection. 'Viva La Vida' in the Royal Albert Hall? That's one for the memories.
Moments on melancholy: Coldplay have recently released their sixth studio album, Ghost Stories. It is an impressive record, but this time around, the band have adopted a largely subdued sound. Expect moments of sweeping, epic euphoria as the band deliver new classics such as 'Magic' and 'Midnight'. Goosebumps guaranteed.
BANGERS: Coldplay teamed up with Avicii on their 'Sky Full Of Stars' single - and Giorgio Moroder's remix of 'Midnight' is the most bonkers and brilliant remix of 2014. If they drop these into the show, it will rock the Royal Albert Hall (and super-posh Kensington) to its very core.
A more emotional Chris Martin: The Coldplay frontman has never shied from his emotions and expressing himself on stage, but having recently 'consciously uncoupled' from wife Gwyneth Paltrow, the Chris Martin that takes to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall may be more vulnerable star than seen at previous shows. Go easy on him, Coldplay fans.
