I haven’t had it long enough to need to clean it. It is a beautiful rug. I have a 9 x 12 and a 2x 3. They vacuum well. You will love the rich vibrant colors.

The background is more of an off-white. The prominent colors are turquoise, red and orange. I’ve loved the colors in the rug. I have bright throw pillows in turquoise and orange.

Its not really red. it is more an orange. But it is a lovely rug. More blue than teal also. They do have other color schemes so mine doesn't match what you want but they may have something closer.

The fabric is woven underneath. It doesnt have a rubber backing.
