Pool

Established in 1964, the Paramus Municipal Pool is the gem of Paramus, New Jersey. Membership is open to Paramus Residents (proof of residency required) and out-of-town individuals / families. A discount price is available for Senior Citizens, Paramus volunteers and Veterans (more information can be obtained from the pool office). The Paramus Pool provides a fun summer experience for all ages!

As of Friday, July 1st, the Paramus Municipal Pool will only sell Paramus Resident Day Passes Monday through Friday. (No weekends or Holidays). We encourage those who want to come to enjoy the facilities on weekends to purchase a "Weekend Membership."

*Members can still purchase up to 6 guest passes any day of the week.

2022 Information

  • Both monthly memberships will be allowed to use the pool for the days in September. If you wish to come to the pool in June, you will need to purchase a seasonal membership or June weekend membership.
  • Early Bird Rates effective April 4 to April 30.

Registration Options:

Borough Hall (in person): Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Thursday evenings until 6:30 PM; excluding Borough Holidays. Open starting April 4.

By Mail: Mail in copies of all your documentation, application with a non refundable check to:

2022 Rates

Service Fee: Paying by credit card for memberships will incur a 2.75% service fee. 

Military Discount: We offer Veterans and Active Duty Military 50 % off their memberships. Veteran must join to receive the discount. Paramus Veteran ID card or discharge papers will be required as proof upon registration. 

Paramus Volunteer First Responders: We offer Paramus volunteer First Responders 50% off their membership. First Responder must join to receive the discount. Letter signed by your Chief will be required upon registration. Forms are available in Borough Hall Pool Office.

Lost Badges: replacement badges $ 20 per badge; NO exceptions!

Paramus Day Pass

Paramus Resident Non Member Day Passes will be available for the 2022 season.

  • Paramus Residents who are not joined as pool members will be able to purchase a day pass at the gate. Drivers license will be required as proof of residency. 
  • Paramus Day Passes will not be sold until 2:00 PM.
  • Paramus Day Pass Rate will be $15 per adult and $10 per child under 12 years of age.
  • Guest passes are not available for purchase when using a Paramus Day Pass.

Swim lessons are on a first come, first preferred time basis. 

MUST be a member of the Pool.

Registration: will be on Saturday, June 4. Registration is at the pool from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. 

Fee: It is $85 per session, per person; paid upon sign up by credit card or members check. (checks are non-refundable– made out to Paramus Municipal Pool) No Refunds. 

1st Session……………….June 27 to July  11 (No Classes July 4th)

2nd Session………………………………….………July 18 to July 28

3rd Session…………………………………….August 3 to August 12

All sessions are 30 minutes. Detailed class schedule will be available at registration.
