CNN medical analyst Dr. Leana Wen, who for two years was one of the strongest advocates for masks and masks in schools, now admits that forcing her child to wear one harmed his development.

As we previously noted, Wen started to admit some months ago that masks don’t work in stopping the spread of COVID, further declaring that “the decision to wear a mask should shift from a government mandate to an individual choice.”

As recently as two months prior to that, Wen was advocating for the Biden administration to “further restrict the activities of the unvaccinated.”

Wen also previously entrenched a segregated society when she blamed people who hadn’t taken the jab for a COVID-19 “surge” while asserting “we can’t trust the unvaccinated.”

Wen also called for making it “hard for people to remain unvaccinated” by restricting their social freedoms.

She asserted that, “It needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated,” claiming that it wasn’t currently difficult (despite the group being demonized and discriminated against on a daily basis).

Wen also previously stated that children returning to school need to be forced to wear industrial grade face masks and should be subjected to weekly COVID tests until they are fully vaccinated.

Now, however, Wen says that masking kids has too many downsides.

In an op-ed for The Washington Post, Wen states “It became clear that the goal I’d hoped for — containment of covid-19 — was not reachable. This coronavirus is here to stay.”

“With this new, indefinite time frame, the benefit-risk calculus of mitigation measures shifted dramatically. I was willing to limit my children’s activities for a year or two but not for their entire childhood,” she continues.

Wen also admits that “Masking has harmed our son’s language development, and limiting both kids’ extracurriculars and social interactions would negatively affect their childhood and hinder my and my husband’s ability to work.”

As we have previously highlighted, lockdowns and masking in particular have had massively detrimental impacts upon children.

A study in Britain found that many children entering elementary school have severely underdeveloped verbal skills, with many are unable to even say their own name.

According to speech therapists, mask wearing has caused a 364% increase in patient referrals of babies and toddlers.

Another study revealed how mean IQ scores of young children born during the pandemic have tumbled by as much as 22 points while verbal, motor and cognitive performance have all suffered as a result of lockdown.

A study published in the Royal Society Open Science journal found that lockdowns in the UK caused around 60,000 children to suffer clinical depression.

Figures show that 400,000 British children were referred to mental health specialists last year for things like eating disorders and self-harm.

Education experts have asserted that forcing schoolchildren to wear face masks has caused long lasting psychological trauma.

An Ofsted report also warned of serious delays in learning caused by lockdown restrictions.

“Children turning two years old will have been surrounded by adults wearing masks for their whole lives and have therefore been unable to see lip movements or mouth shapes as regularly,” states the report.

Another study out of Germany which found that the reading ability of children has plummeted compared to pre-COVID times thanks to lockdown policies that led to the closure of schools.

Despite vast amounts of data showing that the spread of Monkeypox is occurring predominantly among gay men, CNN went to great lengths to explain that it is absolutely NOT sexually transmitted.

As reported here in The Scientific American, Monkeypox Is a Sexually Transmitted Infection, and Knowing That Can Help Protect People.

The piece notes that “Black and Latino men who have sex with men are most vulnerable to monkeypox,” and cites data that finds “Outside Africa, 99 percent of the cases have been in men, and 92 to 98 percent have been in self-identified men who have sex with men.”

“A study published in the BMJ in late July found 196 of 197 cases of MPX in London were in people who identified as men who had sex with men,” the article also notes.

The evidence is so voluminous that the World Health Organisation is on the verge of classifying Monkeypox as an STI.

The author of the article, Steven Thrasher warns that by “not naming, researching, preventing and addressing how transmission is happening,” people will be kept “from understanding how to prevent infection, allow unnecessary worry, and exacerbate racist and homophobic social determinants of health.”

“In the past few months, there has been considerable backlash to naming MPX an STI [sexually-transmitted infection] out of the usually well-intentioned but ultimately misguided belief that doing so will increase stigma,” Thrasher also explains.

And that’s where CNN comes in.

The network’s national correspondent Dianne Gallagher lectured viewers Tuesday (albeit not that many of them) that “monkeypox is NOT a sexually-transmitted infection.”

Gallagher added that”If the Biden administration wants its outreach to be a success, celebrating [pride] while educating, without discriminating, is the only way to approach it.”

Following the science? Not when it means ‘creating a stigma’.

Earlier this month, infectious disease experts in Sweden criticized the country’s gay pride parade organizers for failing to provide any information on monkeypox ahead of a march that they warn could be a ‘super spreader’ event.

The World Health Organization recently said that cases continue to spread amongst “men who have sex with men,” although after saying summer festivals should be limited, they later clarified that gay pride events should go ahead as normal.

After health authorities in San Francisco issued a public health emergency over monkeypox, gay men were still encouraged to attend the annual pride parade as well as sex orgies.

U.S. District Court of Florida Judge Steven Merryday issued an injunction this week against the Department of Defense and the U.S. Marine Corps, allowing US Marines with religious objections to refuse covid vaccine mandates imposed by the Biden Administration.

Liberty Council, a Christian religious rights law firm, sued Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and pursued class action relief on behalf of all U.S. Marines who were denied religious accommodations from the COVID shots. Some religious objectors refuse the vaccines citing research and development that may have involved aborted fetal cells.

Joe Biden attempted and failed to institute vaccine mandates for US businesses and their employees in 2021, but unfortunately this did not extend to soldiers in the US military.  Mandates have been fought in courts to varying degrees by current serving within different branches, but the pressure to comply has been extensive.  Many have sought religious exemptions, which have been used successfully with other vaccinations, but such rights have been utterly ignored when it comes to the covid mRNA vax.  

Keep in mind, new vaccines on average are tested for at least 10 to 15 YEARS before being released to for use by the US public.  There is no significant long term data on covid mRNA vaccines developed by companies like Pfizer beyond small studies run by the same pharmaceutical corporations that stand to make massive profits.  Some of these studies were only a few weeks to a few months long.  Vaccines with minimal testing are able to be administered to the public under emergency authorization from the government, which is what vax companies used to pump out millions of doses.

Vaccine advocates claim that the covid vaccines are “different” and that companies were able to “compress the timeline for study” because of the billions of dollars involved in Operation Warp Speed.  This is a misrepresentation of the facts.  There is no other precedence in modern vaccine history for such a swift release.  Long term testing is not only about money and meeting efficacy standards, it’s also about monitoring effects that may not be present in testing in short term studies, but could arise unexpectedly over time.  This is why no vaccine has ever been approved by the FDA for public use as quickly as the covid vaccines.

Even the mumps vaccine which was fast-tracked by the US government in 1963 took over 4 years to approve and was rolled out in 1967.  This was the fastest approval ever by the FDA until the covid vaccines came along and were rolled out within 10 months from testing to distribution.

The potential effects involved with mRNA technology are specifically concerning for this reason, and because they have never been used on the medical market anywhere in the world until the covid pandemic.  This is an issue consistently mentioned by one of the inventors of mRNA tech, Robert Malone, along with thousands of other scientists, and he has been consistently demonized for it in the mainstream media.  

In fact, there is NO ONE out there today that can say with any certainty what the long term effects of covid vaccines will be, because there are no long term studies to corroborate claims of safety.  At least, if there are long term studies (multi-year studies) on the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, they have not been released.  

Maybe there will be limited effects, or no effects, or maybe there will be many.  Given the minimal average Infection Fatality Rate of covid, which is 0.23% according to dozens of independent peer reviewed studies, millions of people in the US including many in the military have determined that there is no reason for them to gamble on the jab.  Why take the chance on a vaccine with no long term data when the threat of death is so low, especially for younger people? 

Judge Steven Merryday issued the following injunction against the Department of Defense and the U.S. Marine Corps:

“The defendants are PRELIMINARILY ENJOINED (1) from enforcing against a member of the class any order, requirement, or rule to accept COVID-19 vaccination, (2) from separating or discharging from the Marine Corps a member of the class who declines COVID-19 vaccination, and (3) from retaliating against a member of the class for the member’s asserting statutory rights under RFRA (Religious Freedom Restoration Act).”

According to Liberty Counsel, the class includes:

“All persons on active duty or in the ready reserve (1) who serve under the command of the Marine Corps, (2) who were affirmed by a chaplain as harboring a sincere religious objection, (3) who timely submitted an initial request for a religious accommodation, (4) who were denied the initial request, (5) who timely appealed the denial of the initial request, and (6) who were denied or will be denied after appeal.”

This is a big win for individual liberty in the face of medical authoritarianism, and as the covid hysteria continues to subside perhaps people will finally realize how they allowed their fear to get in the way of reason.
