Question, what happened to the Early Childhood rating? According to your website, there hasn't been a new game in the last month with that rating. Has it been retired?

Yes, we retired the eC rating last year around this time. There were SO few games that fit the criteria, and the argument could almost always be made that E was also applicable for those titles!
on thing I found hypocritical they got rid of it due to a lack of use. Yet they are still holding on to the AO rating. Unless AO games are illegal to sell to minors why not get rid of that too?!
, I remember the game 40 Winks when it was rated E by you. I never knew the eC rating went retired 2 years ago, and games started to use the E rating instead.

, I heard about the Canadian TV ratings equivalent. The eC rating was similar to the C rating, the E10+ was similar to C8. E, T, M, and AO are like G, PG, 14+ and 18+, respectively.

I would say PG is E10+, 14+ is T and 18+ is M or AO

I figured since you decided to get rid of eC do to there being SO few games that fit the criteria? Why not get rid of AO? I mean the are so few games with that rating as well. Are any of them actually porn? I mean look at the TV rating even in the age of steaming 17+ is max age.
