A few weeks ago, WCW confirmed that Vince Russo would not be attending the federation's tour of Australia. He instead opted to write the shows from home.
WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that Russo is taking a leave of absence from WCW because of post-concussion syndrome. Some feel that Vinnie Ru is avoiding the federation because of the possibility of it soon being bought (which could lead to the New Yorker being out of a job). However, his injuries are legitimate and well documented. Russo did indeed suffer concussions during the various matches he competed in.
Ed Ferrara, Bill Banks, Terry Taylor, and the usual crew are expected to handle television writing in Vince's absence.
