1772 - 1795 Sayyid Idrus bin Sayyid 'Abdu'l Rahman al-Idrus, Tuan of Kubu. b. at Batavia, 17xx. Established an Arab settlement near the moth of the Terentang river, thereby founded the new state of Kubu in 1772. m. ca. 1747, a daughter of H.H. Pangeran Ratu Kimas Hindi Sri Susuhanan Mahmud Badar ud-din I Jayawikrama Candiwalang Khalifat ul-Mukminin Sayyid ul-Iman, Sultan of Palembang. m. a daughter of Sayyid Sharif al-Habib Husain ibni Ahmad ba Hassan ba Alawi al-Kadri Jamal ul-Lail, Tuan Besar of Mampawa. He d. 1795, having had issue:
 
1795 - 1829 Sharif Muhammad ibni al-Marhum Sharif Idrus al-Idrus, Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Kubu. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1795. Accepted Dutch protection when he concluded a contract with the Government of the NEI, 4th June 1823. He d. 7th June 1829, having had issue, three sons:
 
1829 - 1841 Sharif 'Abdu'l Rahman ibni al-Marhum Sharif Muhammad al-Idrus, Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Kubu. Succeeded on the death of his father, 7th June 1829. m. Sharifa Idja. He d. 2nd February 1841, having had issue, three sons:
 
1841 - 1864 Sharif Ismail ibni al-Marhum Sharif 'Abdu'l Rahman al-Idrus, Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Kubu. Succeeded on the death of his father, 2nd February 1841. Installed, 28th May 1841. m. several wives, including (first) Tengku Embong binti al-Marhum Tengku Besar Anum (d.s.p.), youngest daughter of H.H. Tengku Besar Anum ibni al-Marhum Sultan 'Abdu'l Jalil Shah, Panembahan of Sukadana, by his second wife, Tengku Jeba binti Tengku Ja'afar, eldest daughter of Tengku Ja'afar bin Tengku Musa, Tengku Panglima Besar of Karimata. m. (second) Sharifa Zina. He d. 19th September 1864, having had issue, four sons and eight daughters:
