Stalin's grandson dies

One of Joseph Stalin's grandsons, Joseph Alliluyev, a well-known cardiologist, has died, Russian news agencies have reported.
Born in 1945, Mr Alliluyev remained very discreet about his family, never giving interviews or writing memoirs, but publishing over 150 articles and studies on heart problems.
His mother, and Svetlana, Stalin's youngest child by his wife Nadezhda Alliluyeva, fled the Soviet Union in 1967 and took refuge in the United States, where she still lives.
