Mechanical Engineering at FH Aachen reached the top position among all UAS in Germany

In the latest university rankings of the magazine WirtschaftsWoche FH Aachen's Mechanical Engineering course once again reached an excellent result and was rated as the best (1. place) among German universities of applied sciences (UAS)!

Since 2008, the Mechanical Engineering course has consistently been in the top 10 in WirtschaftsWoche magazine's annual rankings. Holding a top position for many years is proof of the continuously high level of quality of the practical teaching in the Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics department. 540 Personnel Managers in significant German companies have confirmed that our students have been trained for their later professional practice to an exemplary standard.

We are absolutely delighted with the excellent result and are very confident that our future graduates will manage to do just as well on the job market at home and abroad!

WirtschaftsWoche university rankings

In the annual university rankings created by German magazine WirtschaftsWoche in partnership with the market research company Universum Communications, more than 500 Personnel Managers from companies in all sectors give their assessment of which universities they recruit their own up-and-coming management and skilled staff from and which university best prepares its graduates for jobs and careers.

The WirtschaftsWoche rankings emphasize practical relevance. Therefore, the survey focused on subjects with links to business, such as Business Studies, Economics, Law and Mechanical Engineering. The Personnel Managers who took part in the survey are from SMEs as well as large corporations.
