According to a report from Deadline, Sarah Snook, one of the stars of the hit Emmy-winning HBO drama Succession, has been cast in the lead role of upcoming Australian horror-thriller film Run Rabbit Run. Snook will be replacing Elisabeth Moss in the role, who had to drop out of the film due to scheduling conflicts.

Run Rabbit Run, which is slated to begin shooting next year in Victoria and South Australia, is said to be about a fertility doctor (Snook) whose understanding of life is increasingly tested as her young daughter begins to display multiple signs of disturbing behavior.

The horror-thriller movie is set to be directed by Daina Reid. Reid’s past work has mainly been in directing television, having been nominated for an Emmy for her work on The Handmaid’s Tale. She also worked on shows like The Outsider, Upload, and has even previously directed Snook in the Australian miniseries The Secret River.
