WWE signs two Australian talents to developmental contracts
WWE continues to add to their depth, signing two Australians to developmental deals.
PWInsider first reported that both Matty Wahlberg and Steph De Lander are now under WWE contract and will report to the Performance Center.
The 6'3" Wahlberg (Matt Farrelly) became notable in Australia for starring in their version of Survivor in 2019, two years after he made his pro debut. The 30-year-old is a trainee of Robbie and Madison Eagles and made the announcement he was leaving after Friday's Pro Wrestling Australia event.

Similar to Wahlberg, the 5'11" De Lander also debuted in 2017 and was trained by Madison Eagles. Another Pro Wrestling Australia mainstay, De Lander has worked in the U.S. for SHIMMER, IWA Mid-South and Black Label Pro.
The two join an already large group of trainees at the Performance Center which includes the most female trainees they have ever had in one class that includes Taya Valkyrie, Angela (AQA) Arnold, Gigi (Priscilla Kelly) Dolin, Cora (Elayna Black) Jade, Karissa Rivera and Zoey (Lacey Ryan) Stark.
