Say what you want about McNabb, just make sure you look at the whole picture.

Some would only see 15 of 25 for 'only' 156 yds, and one touchdown on Monday night's game. "Average" is a word thrown around a lot, "Over-rated" I've heard before.

Looking at McNabb's Monday night stats against the Redskins, critics and some fans always seem to look at the empty side of the Green glass. They take one game or, hoard the faults of games past to represent their view of the Eagle's starting QB.

Only for a fleeting moment do they take into account the tremendous records McNabb set on Monday Night Football.

With the amazing touchdown pass thrown 50 yds down field to speedster DeSean Jackson, McNabb joined an elite group of quarterbacks throughout the history of the game.

He broke two records at the same time. First, passing for over 30,000 yards in his career. Second passing for 200 touchdowns.

To give you an idea of how incredible that is let's look at some of the top current QB's:

Donovan McNabb: 138 games, 30,088 yards, 200 TD's

Tom Brady: 120 games, 28,478 yds, 212 TD's

Kurt Warner: 118 games, 30,263 yds, 191 TD's

Drew Brees: 113 games, 27,956 yds, 182 TD's

(Others like Favre and P. Manning were not listed because of 50 or more game differential)

Kurt Warner, although 38 years old, hit the 30,000 yards passing just two weeks ago against the Seahawks. He is currently tied with Dan Marino as the fastest to reach 30,000 yards passing. They did it in their 114th career game. Peyton Manning did it in 115.

Still not convinced about D-Mac? Still think he's just a dime a dozen?

McNabb has even separated himself from that "norm", though I doubt any of us would call the likes of Brady, Brees, Manning and the rest norm. On Monday, Donovan McNabb became only the fourth player in NFL history to pass for 30,000 yards, throw 200 TD passes, rush for 3,000 yards and rush for 20 touchdowns. The others in that group are Steve Young, Fran Tarkenton and John Elway.

So while McNabb finished 15 of 25 for 156 yards and the TD pass for the game, please pay due respect who has brought over 33,000 yards, 220 TD's, with a host of playoff appearances and NFC title games to Philadelphia. He knows how to get it done.

We're cheering for ya big D.
