We take our mission to support the communities we live and work in seriously. Fulfillment of this mission begins at the individual level, with our staff investing time and resources in organizations dedicated to making a positive impact on our communities, and it extends to the corporate level from there. Weigand staff members are encouraged to make volunteer service a priority and each employee is given two full days of paid time off per year to volunteer for a 501(c)(3) of their choice.
As a company, Weigand Construction also sponsors a full day of service to help our local communities. Â Employees help with manual labor, cleaning, painting and building structures on these company-wide service days.

Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN
(Stop Child Abuse and Neglect)
Weigand has an established tradition of enthusiastic support of SCAN, whose mission is to eliminate the abuse and neglect of children in northeast Indiana through family services, education and community partnerships. When the opportunity came around, Weigand proudly signed on as the title sponsor of SCAN Inc.’s annual duck race, now known as the Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN. Funds from the annual Duck Race are used for SCAN’s education, prevention and advocacy programs.
