FC Barcelona players Marc André Ter Stegen and Aitana Bonmatí have been designated as the winners of the Barça Players Award for their fair play during the 2022-23 season. The distinction, promoted by the FC Barcelona Players' Association, highlights each year the player of the Club with the most values, both on and off the field of play. In this edition, it was the members of the Association themselves who decided the prize winners during a vote that took place between July 19 and 26.
A distinction they already know
Both players already know what it means to win the Barça Players Award. The MVP of the last edition of the Champions League has been the winner of the last two editions (2021 and 2022), while the German goalkeeper - this year's 2023 Zamora trophy - was distinguished by the Association in 2019.
