Very well researched and extremely readable history of a Christian movement that has been ignored for a very long time. The so-called Nestorian Churches were many times persecuted by both the Churches under the Roman Empire (especially after the Roman Empire declared Christianity as the State Religion) as well as the non-Western Powers (Persian or others) from the 1st through 21st centuries, all the way to the present. These are the some of the descendants of the Eastern Orthodox Catholic Christians that are being persecuted today in countries such Iraq and Syria. Yet, the grace of God has kept the witness of these amazing faithful servants until the present day. This book details a fraction of the history of faith, courage and sacrifice of the people that reached the ends of the earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A must read for anyone who is a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and has interest in learning from the past.
