Fleet Weeks in the Northwest Region

Seattle Fleet Week             

part of Seafair Festival           
August 1-6, 2023     
 

A U.S. Navy Destroyer along with U.S. Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy ships will be in Seattle at Pier 46 South (north of USCG Station Sector Seattle) Aug. 3-6 as part of the festivities for Seattle Fleet Week. There will be free public tours of the ships along with Navy and Coast Guard search and rescue helicopters and various other displays, food trucks, and more.  Take advantage of this rare opportunity to walk the decks of some of the most advanced military vessels in the world and meet the amazing men and women who serve aboard them. Come down and support those who serve, we look forward to meeting you!

U.S. Navy Ship Tours:        
August 3-6
Pier 46 South (north of the U.S. Coast Guard Station Sector Seattle)
Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

*Tour lines may be shut down up to an hour or more prior to the end of tour time in order to ensure tours conclude on time.
 

Visitors will pass through an airport-style security screening checkpoint and are subject to search so everyone is encouraged to bring as few items as possible.  Prohibited items on board include the following:

  • Weapons, including knives, firearms and club weapons

  • Defensive chemicals or sprays, including mace and pepper spray; spray cans of any type

  • Fireworks, flammable liquids or other explosives

  • Drugs and drug-related paraphernalia illegal by federal standards, including cannabis

  • Large bags, including backpacks, diaper bags and large camera bags (small camera bags and small handbags may be permitted, but will be subject to search)

  • Strollers

  • While general photography of this event is allowed, the use of drones in the area of Navy vessels is strictly prohibited

Due to the military industrial nature of U.S. Navy ships, those with limited mobility, or those who require walkers or wheelchairs, may not be allowed on ship tours for their safety. In these cases, the Navy will facilitate a pier-side brief.
