Ticketmaster has been hit with a new lawsuit claiming it infringed another company’s electronic ticketing systems patents as it rides the high of recently dodging a $122 million verdict for similar accusations.
Dynamic Ticket Systems LLC alleged that sister companies Ticketmaster and Live Nation Worldwide Inc., knowingly ripped off its technology for providing network controlled access to spaces and events with their electronic management systems, according to the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
