The Beatles: The FBI Files contains the actual original and declassified criminal investigation files related to The Beatles who were a "British Pop Musical group," that received an extortion threat while they were performing in Denver, Colorado on August 26, 1964. They were directed to cancel their appearance or grenades would be thrown at the group. (During this time, John Lennon, was the subject of an immigration appeal.) In addition, various "Beatles" references are made within several FBIHQ main files concerning other subject matters. This publication is being published and made available now for the first time in a paperback book edition for those interested in the history of The Beatles and those who are fans of this important music group.
