The 2023-24 LA Clippers City Edition uniform was inspired by the love of basketball that runs through the city, culture and organization.
The uniform features a retro yet modern style influenced by the 1980s, designed by the renowned LA-based artist Jonas Wood.
The “Clips” wordmark is a custom drawing by Wood and pays homage to the classic Clippers wordmark. The navy and pacific blue colorway is associated with the Clippers’ nautical heritage.
The jocktag includes custom drawings of Jonas’ signature basketballs as well as his iconic plants that overlap the “LA CLIPPERS.”
The shorts then feature a custom logo drawing by Wood, incorporating key basketball illustrations into the Clippers secondary logo.
