In addition, Classic Doom modules are being added to SnapMap, the level creation tool. Plus, id Software has already created some maps using assets based on the original games for you to try out.
Other additions to the level creation side of the game include being able to easier recommend and review maps, and you can subscribe to creators to see all their updates.
The update also adds two new multiplayer modes, Possession and Bloodrush. In Possession, a team of Prowlers teams up against a team of Marines, but whenever a Marine dies, they join the Prowler team.In Bloodrush, players must fill up a Bloodrush meter in order to respawn. This is done by getting kills and assists, but it goes down a lot if you die. Plus, as time goes on, the meter will drain faster until there's only one player left.
