One person was killed and another person taken into custody after a shooting at St. Vincent Hospital North in Sherwood, Arkansas.
Police found one person dead from a gunshot wound upon arrival at the hospital, the Sherwood Police Department said in a press release. The Little Rock Police Department confirmed that the suspect involved in the shooting was found at an Exxon gas station before he was detained.
Both the names of the victim and the person in custody are not going to be released at this time.
The Sherwood Police Department confirmed that there was an active shooting situation at St. Vincent Hospital in Sherwood at about 12:15 p.m. in a tweet, but officials did not release any further information.

No other information will be released at this time.
Agents from the New Orleans Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives were at the scene as well, the agency announced.

The hospital was put on lockdown following the active shooter incident. Hospital employees who were in the building at the time of the incident told reporters that the shooting occurred on the fourth floor.
