911 Polk County Crimestoppers Polk County Crimestoppers is an organization of concerned citizens that encourages the public to join in the fight against criminal activity in the Greater Des Moines area. Crimestoppers provides a means for the public to remain anonymous when they provide information to assist law enforcement agencies. Rewards are offered by Crimestoppers to encourage citizen participation. Citizens who believe they have information about a criminal activity or the whereabouts of a wanted person are urged to call 515.223.1400 at anytime. The caller will remain anonymous but will be given a number that they can use to check back on the progress of their information and how to claim a reward. Rewards of up to $1,000.00 are given to the first person that calls with information that leads to the indictment of anyone who commits a crime.
