Country superstar and Oklahoma native Toby Keith once labored as a rodeo worker, an oil field hand and semi-pro football player. As one of his hit songs laments, he "Should've Been a Cowboy." But for over a decade, Keith has pumped out ten records with over a dozen country singles chart-toppers, demonstrating that he made the right career choice.

Keith reined in attention with 2002's post-9/11, ultra-patriotic "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" and has since enjoyed an overwhelming response to each of his last three records: "Unleashed," "Shock'n Y'all" and this year's "Honkytonk University."

After fulfilling his contract with DreamWorks, the artist recently started his own music label, Show Dog Records, with industry veteran Scott Borchetta. Keith is also eyeing a transition into film, having signed a three-picture deal with Paramount.
