101 days on The Block
This is their final night in their unit and there are still some last-minute touch-ups to make before they have to be out tomorrow morning.
They couldn't have asked for a better way to end their time on The Block. It was spent having a nice dinner with Matt, Jane and Trent. In this late stage of the game, there is no point pretending. They are just keeping it very real.
Day 102 — the last day They have had a little over five hours sleep and they are utterly exhausted. "Just point me in the direction of the outside. I feel like I'm 95 years old."
But Andrew still wants to fix a few things that have been annoying him. He is determined not to leave until it's perfect. This morning, he is checking the sink … and he even has Dave Harding's approval.
They knew they wouldn't leave as best friends with everyone from The Block, but they didn't know that they were going to walk into an absolute cat fight. They have witnessed and overheard some disgraceful arguments between the boys and Jason and Kirsten, and now they are witnessing something that hurts more … an attack on Jane and Matt.
As much as they have remained quiet and tried to keep a safe distance from all the fighting and bickering, Jamie and Andrew can no longer stand back and watch another attack. And, not surprisingly, the attack is turned on them when Steven tells them to keep out of it.
Being told that they don’t understand because they were not here from the start absolutely infuriates Jamie. They may have missed 13 days, but are they forgetting the remaining 88?
"I've had it and if I never see them again I'll be happy."
Time to say goodbye For Jamie, leaving their beautiful apartment is an emotional departure as she thinks back on what they have achieved. They may have come in late but they didn't miss a beat. They hold their heads high as they close their door to their unit one last time. The end of this adventure is shared with Jane and Matt as they say their goodbyes and head home to sleep: dialup
