Rules of Submission for NCRcafe.org (effective as of June 1, 2006)
Submission Guidelines for NCRCafe.org
NCRcafe is the gathering place for the Catholic conversation. We expect the
conversation to be thought-provoking and interesting as important topics are
discussed. Although this is public conversation in the broadest sense it is also
respectful and constructive conversation. While you have a piece of the truth
that you would like to share, please remember that every other participant also
has their own perspective on the truth. In this mutual sharing of our thoughts
and beliefs we all come to deeper understanding of the issues.
The discussion tables at the NCRcafe are facilitated by professional
journalists. Their role is to facilitate, not to censor or drive the
conversation. In the best interest of all participants, the facilitators will
remove content that is threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar,
obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or
otherwise objectionable.
The following submission rules are meant to provide some boundaries for the
discussion. First and foremost, it is a discussion, not a free-for-all or a
place to air grievances or to tromp on the dignity of others.
