GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Finance & Management Services (FMS) Department provides financial management, information technology,
and facilities/fleet management services to the City of Gresham. It is organized into six major program
areas: Administration, Budget, Accounting Services, Facilities & Fleet Management, Financial Services,
and Information Technology.
The Administration Division is responsible for overall management of the FMS responsibilities, such as:
Department budgeting; cost containment; long-range planning; special audits and projects that affect
department and City finances, particularly cost savings; and, effective customer service. The department
director assists the City Manager and other department directors in financial matters that have Citywide
impact.
